August Greetings from Our Administrator, Billy McCallum

Written by Billy McCallum -

Transitioning to a Skilled Nursing Center can be an exhausting, emotional and challenging process. Here at Samaritas, we aim to make this transition as effortless as possible for you and your loved one. It is very important to remember that there is always a certain level of uneasiness, for many of our residents are entering our care for their first time, however you can rest assured that our staff are to be an extended family. Your loved one will quickly realize that each member is caring and compassionate—and readily available to help with each transitional step of care.

While our industry continues to implement restricting changes and regulations— Federal and State funds have persistently shriveled, resources are limited and support systems at that level have been overwhelmed. However our mission and vision at Samaritas is left unchanged, we put our residents and people first. Samaritas as an organization is one of the largest Non-Profit organizations in Michigan, serving in a multitude of sectors such as Senior Living, Foster Care and Refugee Services.

Although change is constant, Samaritas of Cadillac is prepared to evolve with it—we encourage our community, family members and staff to help instill our core values and to develop and embrace positive change. At Samaritas we welcome you with open arms to be a part of our team and look forward to seeing you on a daily basis. Our team continues to grow, our vision is focused and our future is bright!

I would personally like to thank each and every team member, volunteer and community stakeholder that plays a part in making our center better for residents. Without your support, we could not provide the quality that we do. Each person is appreciated.
