History of Power Island: Dinner and Presentation

Author Kathy Firestone will present on history of Power Island, that famed a plot of land in West Grand Traverse Bay that was the playground of Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Thomas Edison and Babe Ruth. $5 for Dinner and Presentation. Free for Presentation only. Dinner is at 5 p.m. and will be Hamburgers, Potato Salad and Fresh Fruit. Those who are not residents of Samaritas may call the Grand Traverse County Senior Center Network to RSVP by July 6. Call (231) 922-2080. Samaritas residents may simply sign up by the mailboxes.
