May is a beautiful month, full of sunshine, promise and family. Spring is in full swing and summer is right around the corner. The flowers are starting to bloom and are nurtured by the rain the doesn’t seem to quit. Time is spent at the lake or pool, picnics, cookouts and having fun.

Sunday, May 14 is a special day because we have the opportunity to thank and bless all of the women that are in our lives. Women who have come into our lives to love us, show us kindness, care for us, guide us, help us and share their wisdom. These women, whether our moms, grandmas, aunts, cousins, step-moms or by friendship, have influenced us and helped shape us into the people we are today.

Take time to thank any woman who have had an influence on you and say a prayer of thanksgiving, for we are blessed by them!
