* Rents are subsidized by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Residents must be age 62 or older or have impaired mobility and meet HUD’s income guidelines.
** Affordable Living Rochester Hills welcomes everyone who meets the HUD age and income requirements, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, national origin or sexual orientation.
*** On January 1, 2008, Lutheran Social Services of Michigan enacted a policy to make Danish Village (now known as Samaritas Affordable Living of Rochester Hills) tobacco free. This policy went into effect on April 1, 2008. Residents that moved in after April 1st, 2008 are not allowed to smoke in their own apartment, another resident’s apartment, in the parking lot, in their car on the terraces or anywhere else on the property.
