The Home and Community Campus offers emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness. We receive families in the midst of challenging times and guide them toward finding permanency.
Samaritas House of Detroit is a residence for women leaving incarceration and transitioning to home. Samaritas House residents receive support toward achieving educational milestones and securing employment; gaining confidence and promoting self-esteem; and making the emotional leap from the decisions of the past toward a clean slate future with unlimited potential.
The Community Center provides a safe haven for children in challenging neighborhoods. Children are welcomed after school to focus on homework and safe extracurricular activities. Families are welcomed in the evenings for a hot meal. Adolescents and young adults find safety in Community Center, Saginaw during the day, along with guidance toward education and job placement, as well as building the courage to stay away from the lure of local gangs.
