The Samaritas Post Resettlement program offers extended immigration and refugee case management services for eligible individuals and their families. Our program strives to promote long term self-sufficiency and community integration for immigrants, refugees, and asylees. Through the Samaritas Post Resettlement program, immigrants and asylees will be able to access resources designed to ease the transition into a new country. Our volunteers and professionals provide immigration case management, financial help, cultural and language literacy services, translation services, assistance obtaining permanent residency and citizenship and more..

Post Resettlement program services include:

  • Cultural orientation and community integration
  • DHHS benefits application process assistance
  • Financial literacy
  • Support in obtaining Permanent Residency/Citizenship
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes
  • Interpretation/Translation related to available immigration services
  • Transportation related to available immigration services
  • Matching with a volunteer cultural mentor for additional support

The Samaritas Post Resettlement program provides case management and immigration services for anyone who has been in the United States less than 5 years AND is a Refugee, Asylee, Victim of Trafficking, Cuban/Haitian Entrant, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV), or Qualified Amerasian from Vietnam.
