DTE Energy spread some pretty massive ripples in the month of August for Samaritas! It began on a beautiful summer day in Detroit, where employees from the Technology & Architecture division stuffed over 100 backpacks for our youth in Foster Care. They provided pencils, notebooks, crayons, rulers and so much more! Their ripples continued to spread a few weeks later thanks to those working at DTE's Training Facility.

Here, DTE houses a community garden where employees grow fresh, organic produce and herbs. In an effort to fight homelessness and help struggling families obtain the proper nutritious foods they need in the Metro Detroit area, DTE is giving approximately 100 lbs. of this fresh produce weekly to our Samaritas Family Center!
