Come Fly With Me – Aviation 101

This Aviation course is designed to kindle or rekindle a life-long passion for aviation. Participants will explore the basics of aeronautics and aerodynamics, fundamentals of flight, navigation, exploration of the aerospace community, as well as aircraft recognition. The second session will include hands on flight simulation, remote control aircraft exploration, and an aircraft preflight opportunity.

If You’ve Got It, Haunt It – Tour Grand Rapid’s Most Haunted Places

The first tour will visually take you by ten downtown iconic locations, and the bus tour will drive by these locations where there have been more than just a few sightings or unusual activity. Hear the stories. Who suffered a tragic death at these locations and is still hanging around? Are these stories fact or fiction? Two chances to learn!

These indoor gardens are perfect for fall and winter months so you are able to keep up fresh herbs even when the weather outside is not garden-ready. Receive tips on how to grow herbs year-round! This is extremely helpful if you don’t have a large outdoor space to garden.
